GREENE– Jesse W. Ehlers, 27, of Greene was arrested and is being charged with three counts of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony and three additional counts of grand larceny in the third degree, a class D felony. The arrest occurred following an investigation into a report of property. It is alleged that Ehlers stole property that was valued around $45,000 in the Village of Greene between January 2017 and the end of March 2017. Ehlers was arraigned in the Village of Greene court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail. The Village of Greene Police Department was assisted by the New York State Police during the course of this incident.
