Norwich native smashes three New York State records

ALLENTOWN, PA – A 22 year old Norwich woman recently broke three New York State Powerlifting records at the Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships on Saturday, March 25.

Weighing in at just 119 pounds, Kaitlin Herzog recorded a squat of 235 pounds, with an impressive bench press of 145 pounds, and a deadlift of 315 pounds to rewrite the record books.

“Going into the meet, I wasn’t expecting to set any records,” said Herzog. “I went into the meet just wanting to glorify God with my performance and qualify for Nationals.”
