All American BMX lights up the tracks on Easter weekend
NORWICH – The All American BMX team in Norwich doesn’t let anything slow them down, not even a holiday weekend, as many of the racers took to the tracks this past weekend in a doubleheader action.
On Friday, April 14, the team travelled to Grippen Park BMX in Endicott for the first race of the weekend bringing home all top-three finishes.
Friday results:
• Owen Wier, first place in 13 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, first place in 7 novice class
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, first place in 7 intermediate class
• ‘Factory’ Phillip Sheridan, third place in 11 expert class
Following their solid showing on Friday, the team regrouped only to return to the tracks on Easter Sunday, when they traveled to Champion Speedway BMX in Owego – another solid showing from the Norwich racers ensued.
Sunday results:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, third place in 8 cruiser class, and third place in 7 intermediate class
• Andrew Lawrence, first place in 8 novice class
• Patrick White, third place in 11 intermediate
• Timmy White, second place in 8 novice class
The All American BMX team in Norwich will be taking the week to return to practice, before they travel back to Grippen Park BMX in Endicott for a big three-day racing weekend.
