Adirondack Softball defeats Sherburne-Earlville 13-1 Monday
SHERBURNE – A Monday to forget. Another loss in the books for the hot and cold S-E lady Marauders softball team. S-E succumbed to a powerful Adirondack squad.

GREENE – With a record of 6-1, coming off a demoralizing 16-0 loss on Monday, the Greene varsity softball team was afforded no down time – playing Hancock and suffering yet another loss at home at 14-10.
A much more competitive game, Greene showed a fight which was missing the night prior. Enough fight that the lady Trojans were impressively tied the game up in the sixth inning at 9-9.
However, errors never lead to positive things for the team committing them, after dropping five runs for the tie in the sixth inning – Hancock reversed the roles to drop five of their own runs to secure the win on the road.
Hannah Ludolph again took the loss on the mound for Greene, while Haleigh Nugent took the win for Hancock.
Sands, Boeltz, and Lawrence of Greene each finished with doubles on the day in their efforts in the loss.

Bainbridge-Guilford Softball at Delhi 20-1 Monday
DELHI – The lady Bobcats continue to roll over nearly each and every team, most recently crushing Delaware Academy 20-1 on Monday night.

Delhi would only manage one hit to go with their one run, which came in the fifth inning – following a B-G fifth inning that saw them rain down nine runs.
In the win, Kori Thornton finished 2-5 with three runs and two RBI’s, Bree Barber finished 3-3 with one RBI and two runs, the headliner going to Ashley Matthews who pounded in six RBI’s to go with her two runs and finishing 3-4 at the plate.

Oxford softball drops two to start the week
HANCOCK – A Saturday, April 22, game where Oxford softball played on the road saw the lady Blackhawks drop a hard-fought 10-7 loss to Hancock.
Oxford would lead after the top of the third inning – up 5-4 – with a third inning that saw the lady Blackhawks roll in four runners for scores. However, two innings where Oxford was blanked truly hurt their cause, as Hancock was able to battle back with a three run fifth inning.
A late comeback attempt from Oxford ultimately fell just short, as they could only score two runs in the sixth – drawing the score to 8-7 at the time – before Hancock ran two more in for the final decision.
Hancock and Oxford would both see a clean game with no errors, however, finding the ball 11 times compared to Oxford’s nine was enough of a difference to separate the two teams.
Oxford’s Allison Beckwith would take the loss on the mound, removing six batters with her six strikeouts in six innings – with three walks.
Nugent of Hancock would pitch the entire game, recording four strikeouts with six walks.
Beckwith would have a big day at the plate, finishing 3-3 with two runs and one RBI.
