Busy weekend for Norwich All American BMX
ENDICOTT – The All American BMX team saw lots of racing this past weekend, participating in races at Grippen Park BMX in Endicott on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening – bringing home solid finishes each night.
Friday’s Night Results at Grippen Park BMX:
• Owen Wier, first place in 13 novice class
• Noel White, DNF in 7 novice class
• Hunter Wentzel, second place in 11 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, first place in 7 novice class
• ‘Factory Phil’ Phillip Sheridan, first place in 10 intermediate class
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, first place in 7 intermediate class
• Patrick White, third place in 11 novice class
• Timmy White, third place in 8 novice class
• Liam White, third place in 8 novice class
• Cameron Carnachan, fourth place in 7 novice class.
• Piper Sherwood, first place in two-year-old balance bike class
• Paige Sherwood, age four, DNF in five and under novice class
“Paige works hard to conquer the track each week,” said Norwich All American BMX head coach Dave Lawson.
Returning to the track on Saturday, the All American BMX team participated in a Double Points Race for Life to benefit, to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which was put on by USA BMX.
Saturday results:
• Liam White, second place in 9 novice class,
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, first place in 7 novice class,
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’, Lawson, first place in 7 intermediate class
• Hunter Wentzel, sixth place in 11 novice class
• Patrick White, seventh place in 11 novice class
Returning one more day to cap off the weekend, the All American BMX team in Norwich snagged all top-three finishes.
Sunday’s results:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, second place in 7 intermediate class
• Andrew Lawrence, first place in 8 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, first place in 7 novice class
• Liam White, third place in 9 novice class
• ‘Factory Phil’ Phillip Sheridan, third in 10 intermediate class.
All American BMX will be sure to return to the tracks this coming weekend.
