Blue Stone Golf Course hosts fundraiser tournament for Oxford youth sports
OXFORD – The Blue Stone Golf Course played host to Parent-Child Golf Tournament this past Sunday, April 30, where two teams were crowned.
The duo of Christian and Tim Paden emerged as the tournament champions for the 12 and Under division – while Haley and Hugh Witchella snagged the crown for the 13 and Over division.
The tournament acted as a fundraiser for the Oxford Youth Sports Program, and was played as a nine hole captain and mate tournament. With more than 20 teams participating in the 2017 tournament, the turnout proved to be nothing short of a success for everyone involved.
12 and Under top-three teams:
1st – Christian and Tim Paden – 32
2nd – Bella and PJ Brunick – 36
3rd – Degan and Corey Endress – 37
13 and Over top-three teams:
1st – Haley and Hugh Witchella – 30
2nd – Griffin and Neal Clipston – 35
3rd – Cameron Birtch and Brian Willis – 38
