SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville Fighting Back and Truth Pharm are sponsoring a Naloxone (Narcan) training program free-and-open-to-the-public this Wednesday, May 17.

The training will take place at the United Church of Christ in Sherburne at 6 p.m.

Participants will be taught how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an overdose, how to administer Naloxone (Narcan), and how to prevent a fatal opiate overdose.

Ages 16-and-older at the program will receive a Naloxone kit following their training.

“Save the life of a loved one, friend, neighbor, co-worker, or anyone who is experiencing an overdose caused by prescription narcotics, heroin, or fentanyl,” states a release on behalf of S-E Fighting Back and Truth Pharm.
