County schools report budget and election results

CHENANGO COUNTY – Yesterday, May 16, local school districts held their annual budget and Board of Education votes. The results are listed as followed:

• Norwich City School District: Budget Passes: 528 yes, 156 no. Elected Board of Education members: Don Chirlin, Roz DeRensis.

• Sherburne-Earlville School District: Budget Passes: 237 yes, 32 no. Elected Board of Education members: Sue Osborne, Michael Ulrich, Rachel Amann-Burns.

• Greene Central School District: Budget Passes: 247 yes, 102 no. Elected Board of Education members: Jason Burghardt (term begins immediately), Douglas Markham, Nicholas Drew.

• Oxford Academy & Central School District: Budget passes: 188 yes, 41 no. Elected Board of Education members: Julie Gates, Betsy Locke.

• Unadilla Valley Central School District: Budget passes: 206 yes, 59 no. Elected Board of Education members: Victoria Gregory, Richard Potter, Jamie Thompson.

• Bainbridge-Guilford Central School District: Budget passes: 268 yes, 59 no. Elected Board of Education members: Jeanne Shields, Gary Smith, Grace Benkovitz.

• Gilbertsville-Mount Upton School District: Budget passes: 137 yes, 28 no. Elected Board of Education members: Mark Muller, Zachary Proskine, Patricia Dunham.
