All American BMX continues to grind

ENDICOTT – The All American BMX bikers took another weekend trip to Grippen Park BMX this past Friday, coming home with even more hardware.
The shelves must be filled at this point for many of the All American BMX racers, as another solid finish on the courses gave way to ten top-five finishes.
Among those finishes, the team’s newest rider Amon Oliver saw his first racing action in the 8 novice class – finished fifth.
Friday Night Results at Grippen BMX:
• Owen Wier, first-place in 13 novice class
• Amon Oliver, fifth-place in 8 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, first-place in 8 novice
• ‘Factory Phil’ Sheridan, first-place in 11 intermediate class
• Gabe White, first-place in 10 novice class
• Liam White, third-place in 10 novice class
• Patrick White, third-place in 13 novice class
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, second-place in 7 intermediate class
• Cameron Carnachan, fourth-place in 8 novice class
• Paige Sherwood, DNF in 8 novice class
• Piper Sherwood, third-place in strider class
• Timmy White, sixth-place in 8 novice class
On Saturday, May 13, Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson and Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis continued their trek toward the goal of top-finishes – when the duo traveled to Horseheads BMX track.
“I entered the boys in both classes for an extra hard workout. They did well racing a very long track,” said All American BMX coach Dave Lawson.
Horseheads results:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’, first-place in 8 cruiser class and second-place in 8 intermediate class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, third-place in 8 cruiser class and third-place in 8 intermediate class
Next up for the All American BMX team, they will be racing this weekend at Horseheads BMX for the New York State Qualifier, as well as racing on Sunday for the Gold Cup Qualifier.
