William Craine re-elected to Carleton College Board of Trustees

NORTHFIELD, MN – William Craine of Sherburne has been re-elected to a second term on Carleton College's Board of Trustees for a four-year term.

Craine, who graduated from Carleton College in 1970, currently serves at the Chenango County Treasurer.

His wife, Jacqueline, and him were awarded the William Carleton Medal last year in honor of their "exceptional generosity and longstanding service to Carleton College."

In 2000, Craine was recipient of the Carleton Alumni Association's Exceptional Service Award.

In addition to his service to Carleton, Craine is a director for the Preferred Mutual Insurance Company in New Berlin, and Willow Run Foods, Inc., of Binghamton.

He serves as a trustee for Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute of Utica; Norwich YMCA; and the Craine Family Foundation.

He has continually been involved in his hometown of Sherburne and surrounding communities in a variety of roles, including Village Mayor.
