The John Truth Experience returns to Oxford Farmers' Market Saturday
OXFORD – The Oxford Farmers’ Market welcomes back the John Truth Experience this Saturday, June 3. Fun and talented, their unique Americana rhythms may be able to drive away the clouds and bring a bit of sun to the Park. Market opens at 9 am, with music from 10 am to noon. This performance is free and open to the public.
Having recently launched their first CD (Barbed Wire), The John Truth Experience will offer songs woven in what band-members Joel Huizinga, Mark Stacey, Rick Czebiniak and Michael McGuane call “the wire of their experiences."
Vendors will be offering home-baked breads and bagels; fresh-picked rhubarb, greens, root crops, and mushrooms; milk, yogurt, cheeses and eggs, honey and maple products, a full selection of bedding and vegetable plant starts for gardeners chomping at the bit to get a jump on the season, as well as many hand-crafted gifts for upcoming birthdays and Father’s Day including beautiful locally-produced alpaca and wool products, unique greeting cards, and handcrafted wooden creations.
New to the Market: On the green at the east side of the park, a demo tent will house Harold and Audrey Johnson so visitors can see how chair seat weaving (caning) is really done.
All from neighbors you can meet, hands you can shake.
Come meet your neighbors on the park and support local producers at the Oxford Farmers’ Market. For more information, call 607-226-6383 or email freshfromyourneighbors@gmail.com.
