Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson celebrates first anniversary of BMX racing

NORWICH – All American BMX rider, Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson has just reached major milestone in what has already been a young productive BMX racing career.
Celebrating his first anniversary, Lawson has earned some major hardware. Last September, Vinny and All American BMX coach David Lawson, entered the New York State finals for the 7 intermediate class, combined with the novice riders – ranking 13th going in.
When all was said and done, Vinny finished in ninth-place and finished in 19th place in the NY District four in points on the season. Currently, Vinny is in third-place in district points for the same district – just one year removed.

This weekend schedule for the All American BMX team starts off with a double points race at Tri-City BMX in Rotterdam, NY on Friday, June 16. On Saturday, June 17, the team is competing in an Olympic day race on, in an effort to help promote BMX as an Olympic Sport since 2008.
