All American BMX has stayed busy in June

NORWICH – The month of June has kept the All American BMX riders busy, to say the least. However, despite racing five races – one being a two-day race – over the past three weekends, the enthusiasm just continues to grow.
And with the enthusiasm from the riders growing, so does their collection of trophies.
On Friday, June 2, All American BMX team headed down to Grippen Park BMX for a Friday night showdown.
Grippen Park BMX, June 2, results:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, second-place in 8 intermediate class
• Degan Endress, second-place in 8 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air Willis’, first-place in 8 intermediate class
• Amon Oliver, fourth-place in 8 novice class
• Cameron Carnachan, third-place in 8 novice class
The very next day, on Saturday, June 3, the All American BMX team departed for Horseheads BMX for a Saturday and Sunday race – to complete the weekend adventures. This race in Horseheads was the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race.
Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race, June 3, results:
• Timmy White 3rd in 8 novice class
• Vinny Rapid Redline Lawson 1st in 8 intermediate class
• Patrick White 1st in 11 novice class and 1st in cruiser class
• Andrew Lawrence 3rd in 8 intermediate class and 3rd in cruiser class.
Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race, June 4, results:
• Patrick White, fourth-place in cruiser class
• Timmy White, third-place in 8 novice class
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, third-place in 10 intermediate class
Notably, Vinny Lawson went on to Valley BMX in Athens Pennsylvania after racing at the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race in Horseheads. Lawson competed in 11 intermediate class and finished in third-place.
Fast forward another week and the team once again found themselves in thick of the action – racing at Champion Speedway BMX in Owego on Sunday, June 11.
Champion Speedway BMX, June 11, results:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, second-place in 8 intermediate class
• ‘Factory Phil’ Sheridan, first-place in 10 expert class
• Patrick White, first-place in 11 novice class
• Timmy White, third-place in 8 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, fourth-place in 8 intermediate class
“The kids had great battles on the track and pushed through the heat. I was very proud of the boys, riding all weekend long,” said All American BMX coach David Lawson.
The team’s most recent success came by way of another Friday night showdown at Grippen Park BMX, and a race Saturday and Sunday, as well.
On Friday, June 16, seven All American BMX riders made the trip to Grippen Park BMX.

• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, second-place in 8 intermediate class
• Degan Endress, first-place in 8 novice class
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, first-place in 8 intermediate Class
• Rowdy Etling, first-place in 9 novice class
• ‘Factory Phil’ Sheridan, first-place in 10 expert class
• Reed Etling, third-place in 9 novice class
• Owen Wier, third-place in 17 intermediate
On Saturday, four All American BMX riders ventured to CNY BMX in Bridgewater, New York.
CNY BMX, June 17, results:
• Noel White, first-place in 7 novice class
• Gage White, third-place in 10 novice class
• Liam White, sixth-place in 10 novice class
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, third-place in 10 intermediate class
The most recent successes of the team came out of state – when the All American BMX team traveled to Cedar BMX in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 18. This race was notably hosted by Cedar BMX as a Pennsylvania State Qualifier triple points race.
Liam White and Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson both made to their main event moto – as White finished third and Lawson finished fourth.
“The local Cedar racers were tough,” said coach Lawson.

Next up for the All American BMX team, they will be heading to Champion Speedway BMX on Friday, June 23 – before heading to Tr-City BMX on Saturday, June 24.
