Afton man arrested for golf cart joyride at concert
DARIEN – An Afton resident was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle after reportedly taking a joyride in a golf cart during a concert at Darien Lakes Performing Arts Center last weekend.
Deputies say Jeremy A. Wicks, 34, of Afton allegedly assumed control of the golf cart without any sort of permission during a Chris Stapleton concert on Sunday, July 16, before being arrested by law enforcement.
It's reported that Wicks was remanded to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
