Police: Several packages of heroin recovered on July 18
COVENTRY – Two individuals remain incarcerated at the Chenango County Correctional Facility after being arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal using of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of Marijuana on Tuesday July 18, following an investigation into the sale and possession of Heroin in Chenango County, a search warrant was issued by Chenango County Court Judge Frank B Revoir Jr.
The two were charged as follows:
•Brenda L.. Manwarren, 29, of Coventry
•Jessica Sepulveda, 40, of Coventry
Both defendants were charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell, two counts of criminal using of drug paraphernalia second degree and unlawful possession of Marijuana.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, after following the execution of the search warrant at Manwarren and Sepulveda’s residence, several packages of Heroin, a digital scale, and heroin packaging material were seized. The heroin was located in the residence by K-9 Jeroen.
Manwarren and Sepulveda were arraigned in the Town of Coventry Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
It should be noted that all crimes described are allegations. Suspects named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
