Oxford Class of 1967 celebrates 50th reunion

OXFORD – The Oxford Academy and Central School Class of 1967 celebrated its 50th reunion last weekend with 36 members attending. The weekend activities started with a mixer Friday evening at the American Legion in Oxford, open to all alumni.
Saturday's activities included the Oxford Farmer's Market, a tour of the Oxford Middle School hosted by Middle School Principal Josh Martin, luncheon at the Episcopal Church Parish House, sponsored by the Church Ladies' Auxiliary, and a presentation by Oxford Town Historian Vicky House.
The day ended with dinner at the Canasawacta Country Club with photos by Frank Speziale and music of the '60s provided by Ryan Revoir.
Special thanks go out to the Class of 1967 Reunion Committee for all of their work. Particular thanks is extended to Barb Utter Paden, the committee chairperson.
