Norwich City Band concludes summer performing season

NORWICH – The Norwich City Band performed its final concert of the season on Friday, August 11 in Norwich’s East Park. Having performed Friday evenings in the park under the direction of retired Sherburne-Earlville music teacher Gary Solomon, the Norwich City Band performed a variety of patriotic selections, Sousa marches, Broadway show-tunes, and other recognizable music throughout its summer sets. The concerts were made possible thanks to the City of Norwich, The Greater Norwich Foundation, and the R.C. Smith Foundation.
