Oxford Memorial Library

OXFORD – The Oxford Memorial Library has decided that since the first rock painting night went so well, they will be rocking out one last time before school starts.

Come on down Thursday, August 31 at 6 p.m. to paint some more rocks and spread some goodwill. This event is for all ages.

If you would like to bring your own rocks to paint that’s fine and dandy. Otherwise, the rocks will prepared by the library’s lovely volunteers and staff. Paints will be provided by the Library.

Once you have painted a rock you can take it to hide it somewhere for someone to find and post to the Chenango County Rocks or Oxford Memorial Library Youth Services Facebook pages.

Also, keep an eye out for other rocks that have been painted at the library or that others have done themselves. Help “Build a Better World” one “stepping stone” at a time.

If you have any questions, please call the Library at 843-6146, check out the Oxford Memorial Library or Oxford Memorial Library Youth Services Facebook pages, or go to www.oxfordmemoriallibrary.org.
