Sherburne man arrested for grand larceny

SHERBURNE – A Sherburne man sits behind bars at a local jail after being arrested for grand larceny in the third and fourth degree, according to Chenango County Sheriff Ernest R. Cutting Jr.

Nathan A. Jackson, 40, of the Town of Sherburne, was arrested following an investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff's Office found Jackson had stolen numerous items – valuing $10,790 – from a victim's residence over a month long period.

Jackson was arraigned in the Town of North Norwich, and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

Jackson is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
