CONKLIN – The youth of the Purple Tornado controlled the victory for Norwich (1-1) as all goals came from first year varsity players. Norwich grabbed the win from the Susquehanna Valley Sabers on Thursday, August 31.

Norwich shared the ball well as all goals recorded assists in the first half of the game. Sus Valley would only be able to cut into the lead with one goal. 

The Tornado were led by freshman stand-out Sydney Coggins, who recored an assist and goal on the day. Coggins fired one into the back of the net coming from an assist by Taylor Hansen. Both the assist and goal by Coggins were the first in the her young varsity career.
