ONEONTA – The Purple Tornado golf team would capture its first win of the season on the road against Oneonta Monday, September 11.

Recording a team total of 235, Norwich, now 1-5 overall, was led by Alex Gage’s 41 for the par 36 at Oneonta Country Club. Gage would take the top medalist spot for the Purple Tornado.

Oneonta’s Evan Sitts would record a 34, two strokes under par, for the overall lowest score of the match. The rest of the Yellowjackets, now 0-6 overall, would post scores in the 50 range.
