Commerce Chenango's Soiree in the Park

Commerce Chenango held its third annual Soiree in the Park in Norwich's West Park Thursday evening. Although rainy, there was no dampening of spirits under the large Soiree tent and two awards were presented. Allen Lindenthaler – local business owner of A&J Auto Reco, CNY Custom Carts, and Hidden Point Campground in Sylvan Beach – was recognized as the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year: an annual award presented by Commerce Chenango and Golden Artist Colors, Inc. Jim Sargent – longtime local radio broadcaster – was recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, in appreciation of his outstanding and dedicated service in delivering the news to the people of Chenango County.
