NORWICH – Chenango County Republican Commissioner of Elections Mar Lou Monahan has issued an update regarding the remaining absentee ballots in the Norwich City Court Judge Republican primary election.

As of Thursday, Monahan said the Board of Elections had received 64 absentee ballots for the City of Norwich, and 7 for the Town of Plymouth.

Monahan says the absentee ballots will be unsealed and tallied on Tuesday, September 19 after the day's mail arrives. This will most likely occur at approximately 10:30 a.m., but could occur sooner or later depending on the mail's arrival.
