UNATEGO – In what was the most evenly matched game of the 2017 season when it comes to Chenango County volleyball teams – it was Unatego who emerged victorious in the 3-2 fight on Tuesday, September 19.

Better yet for the matchup, both Unadilla Valley and Unatego were undefeated coming into Tuesday’s showdown – Unatego left unscathed.

It all came down to the final set – set number five – as UV and Unatego split the first four in back-and-forth action.

Set one was a big UV Storm win at 25-20, however, it was Unatego who found a way to take set two at 26-24. The lady Storm dominated the third set at 25-9, only to have the score flopped in the fourth at 25-17 – Unatego ended the back-and-forth winning the fifth set.
