Holland-Patent takes down Lady Marauders in dramatic fashion
SHERBURNE — A Holland-Patent goal came in the first of two 10 minute overtimes causing a 2-1 loss for the Lady Marauders on Thursday night.
With the first half of the contest ending in a 0-0 tie, both teams knew they had to put a point up on the board in the second half to bring home the win for their team.
Both squads would score in the second half as Sherburne-Earlville’s score came from Tessa Cole.
Holland Patent’s goals were recorded by Samantha Rachon and Mathia Rosado. Rachon goal was scored by a penalty kick.
The one goal loss marks S-E’s fourth of the season.
The Marauders are on the road for their next action on Saturday, September 23, at 11 a.m. against host Mount Markham.
