“We originally had this match scheduled earlier in the season with goal of giving us match experience but the weather played havoc with the schedule and finding a date to fit became hard,” said Norwich head coach John Stewart. “So that is why we played the fourth match this week. It was an impressive week to finish 4-0 and be 8-1. These girls are real competitors. Most of the matches went straight sets tonight.”

The entire lady Tornado lineup earned a solid win heading into the weekend, as the team proved their worth this past week.

According to coach Stewart, earning ‘match of the night’ honors was third doubles – Logan Fredenburg and Erica Gage. Fredenburg and Gage defeated JC’s duo of Maia Tripp and Tasia Robinson at 6-1, 3-6, and 7-6 (7-2).
