S-E Lady Marauders split decisions for two games in three days

SHERBURNE – Playing two games in three days, the Lady Marauders split the outcomes with one win and one loss.

Sherburne-Earlville took the W in the first game with a double-overtime victory of 4-3 over host Canastota.

The Red Raiders jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first and tacked on their second goal in the second half, but S-E fought back to tie up the game with two goals of their own in the second half, forcing yet again another double overtime contest this season.

In the extra sessions, the Marauders tallied two early, scoring both in the first overtime. Canastota only answered with one in the second 10 minutes to award S-E the win.
