New attractions, chicken bbq fundraiser at Saturdays in the Park

NORWICH – Saturdays in the Park with Chobani will feature additional vendors and a chicken barbecue fundraiser supporting the Norwich High School girls swim team this Saturday in Norwich's West Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"Not only do we have our amazing vendors that we have each week but we also have three new local vendors who will be joining us in the park this Saturday," said Mindy Chawgo, Saturdays in the Park with Chobani organizer.
The chicken barbecue will be cooked by the local Elk's Club and proceeds will benefit the NHS girls swim team's booster club.
Next Saturday, October 7, the downtown Norwich harvest market will feature a cornhole tournament facilitated by Empire Cornhole.
"Every week we are adding additional vendors to create a complete shopping experience at Saturdays in the Park with Chobani," said Chawgo.
