BAINBRIDGE – The 2-0 difference didn’t show anywhere except in the final score as the two teams matched-up extremely well in Delhi win over Bainbridge-Guilford.

The 11-0 Bulldogs weren’t expecting a fight from the 7-4-1 Lady Bobcats but B-G gave one as they ended the first half with an empty scoreboard.

It wasn’t until nine minutes left in the contest that a cross from Delhi’s Logan Bruce was one-timed by teammate Olivia Wakin, leading to the first goal from either team.

The second was scored in the final seconds for Delhi on a breakaway by Lindsey Whitbeck as B-G was trying to put as much pressure as they could with hopes to tie and force extra sessions.
