NORWICH – The All American BMX team never quits – and through all the ups and downs of a season, determination is what is most prevalent – that and fun.
What All American BMX coach, Dave Lawson, might be best known for is not only giving the youth of the greater Norwich area a fun and athletic alternative sport to get involved with – but his will to get out there each and every weekend with his riders, traveling long distances at times to races, if necessary.
Not only are the riders always racing, always practicing and always having fun – but the group seems to be constantly growing, once again thanks to the hard work of coach Lawson.
This past weekend, coach Lawson and his riders took part in three big races – while welcoming one new rider into the ranks.
Coach Lawson said that this newest edition now marks the sixth girl to join the team.
Camryn ‘Crazy Legs’ Searfoss will be racing in the 8 novice class for the All American BMX team.

Results from Tri-City BMX Friday, Sept. 29th:
• Camryn ‘Crazy Legs’ Searfoss, second-place in novice class and third-place in 7-8 open class.
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, third-place in 8 expert.
• Liam ‘Bad to the Bone’ Ballin, third-place in 9 novice class.
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, fourth-place in 8 intermediate class.

Results from CNY BMX on Saturday, Sept. 30th:
• Timmy White, first-place in 9 novice class.
• Patrick ‘The Beast’ White, third-place in 14 expert class.

Results from Catamount BMX in Vermont State Qualifier race, Sunday, October 1st:
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, second-place in 8 expert class.

Following this weekend of racing it was announced that four All American BMX teammates will be going to the New York State Finals at Shoreham BMX in Long Island.
• Ethan ‘Big Air’ Willis, second in points for 8 intermediate class.
• Timmy White, 10th in points for 9 novice class.
• Patrick ‘The Beast’ White, fourth in points for 11 intermediate class.
• Vinny ‘Rapid Redline’ Lawson, third in points for 8 expert class.

The four All American BMX riders will receive their NYS custom number plates after the points are tallied up from this coming Saturday’s, October 7, finals. Friday night, October 6, they will all race in the pre-race double pointer.
