Foulds, Cubbedge officially win Norwich Town Council seats

NORWICH – Absentee ballots unsealed at the Chenango County Board of Elections Tuesday revealed Stanley D. Foulds (R) and Debra A. Cubbedge (D) to be the winners of two council vacancies in the Town of Norwich.

Foulds and Cubbedge received 452 and 444 total votes respectively in the general election, beating out Barbara E. Collins (D) and former Norwich supervisor David C. Law (R).

Collins received 425 total votes and Law received 352.

Chenango County Democratic Chair Patrick McNeil said until now, he had no record of a Democrat ever winning a council seat in the Town of Norwich.
