OXFORD – The Lady Blackhawks are having an amazing season and it’s only a few weeks in. Oxford is currently undefeated at 24-0 after topping Hancock on Wednesday.

Hancock’s Brenna Gleim stole top honors with a 641 series with a high game of 236. But Oxford’s girls remained consistent by bowling well into the 800’s each game and finishing strong with a huge 924 game to seal the win.

On Monday, the lady Blackhawks topped Greene, moving to 20-0 by the end of the match. Savannah Beech bowled a career high 596 to pace the girls. Oxford’s girls bowled a new season high with a 951 in the first game.

“It’s the highest single game that we have bowled since Oxford brought back bowling 8 years ago,” said Oxford’s head coach Lance Thorne.
