Ruth Young selected as honoree for Chenango River Theatre’s Winter Gala

GREENE – Chenango River Theatre’s upcoming Winter Gala will honor Ruth Young for her outstanding contributions and service as a member of Chenango River Theatre’s Board of Directors. Ruth recently rotated off CRT’s board, after serving the maximum three terms for a total of nine years of continuous Board service, helping guide the company’s growth as CRT approaches it’s 12th season as the area’s premier professional, non-profit theatre company.

As a licensed realtor, now with Warren Real Estate (Vestal, NY), Ruth has donated her professional expertise and her personal support for the theatre’s programming and fundraisers, including co-producing the theatre’s 2011 production of The Diary of Anne Frank.

CRT’s 11th Annual Winter Gala will be held at the Silo Restaurant on January 20th from 6:00 – 9:30pm. One of Binghamton’s favorite bands, OLD FRIENDS, will perform throughout the evening. Tickets are available online through CRT’s website (www.chenangorivertheatre.org) or by calling the business office at 656-8778.

Admission includes a wide variety of the Silo’s famed appetizers, plus carving stations with a selection of meats, as well as a wealth of desserts. Complimentary wine, beer & soda is also included. Tickets are $70/person, which includes a tax-deductible gift to the theatre.
