Bobcat boys split last two matches while girls sweep both
BAINBRIDGE – On Monday, both the Bainbridge-Guilford boys and girls bowling teams took 4-0 wins over Afton.
Ed Fuller rolled his way to high-series honors with a three game total of 734. Fuller also recorded high games of 258 and 257 in the first and second games of the match.
Afton was led by Caleb Schuttes’ 493 series.
For the girls side of the match, Bainbridge-Guilford took the three game wins and the pin total point to sweep the Crimson Knights.
The Lady Bobcats were led by Courtney Delello’s 452 high-series for the match, recording a 170 in the third game for the highest single game by either team.
Bainbridge-Guilford received a good team showing as all the girls rolled a series higher than 350. In the second game, three Lady Bobcats bowled a 137.
The Bobcats took on Unadilla Valley Saturday and again Ed Fuller took the honors of high-series, this time bowling a 645.
But strong games two and three of the match aided in the 3-1 win for the Storm. UV’s Brandon Kneale bowled a 214 in game two and followed it with a nice 195 in game three to help his with two points and a match win. Kneale finished with a team-high 538 series for Unadilla Valley.
Bainbridge-Guilford was able to win the first game of the match, in large part to Fullers 224 and teammate Dadeon Canfield’s 200.
The Bobcats girls again took the 4-0 win Saturday, lead by Maya Cliffe’s 527 high-series. Part of that series was Cliffe’s 224 she rolled in the first game of the match.
Bainbridge-Guilford’s Aubrey Bronson bowled a 513 series with a 203 in game one as well, aiding in the strong win by the Lady Bobcats. The three games for the girls totaled 828, 738, 752.
Unadilla Valley’s Paige Catena finished the afternoon with a series of 457, bowling the highest score on her team. Teammate Catherine Livington ended the day just one pin shy of 400.
Bainbridge-Guilford heads to Hancock for their last match of the regular season this afternoon. Unadilla Valley and Afton ended their scheduled season in each of their matches against the Bobcats. Both teams will await for the playoffs.
