CHENANGO COUNTY – The National Weather Service at Binghamton is forecasting snow accumulations of four to seven inches between Wednesday morning and 5 a.m. Thursday, with accumulations of 10 inches possible in northern Chenango County.
The heaviest snowfall is slated for Wednesday afternoon and early evening, and commuters are advised to plan for difficult travel conditions. 40-mph wind gusts will result in areas of blowing snow and limited visibility.
Snow accumulations may be higher in areas of higher elevation.
