GREENE – With the 15 bowler tournament field, the 2018 Greene Bowlodrome’s Women’s Handicap winner is Misty Golden after she defeated Stephanie Fiester in the championship match on Saturday, March 24.

Bowling a total of eight games on the day, Golden’s first four total landed her in fifth place and a spot in the placing rounds. Michelle Williamson (fourth), Linda Gransbury (third), Andrea Ruck (second) and Stephanie Fiester (first) also qualified, giving the five women a chance at the title.

In the position rounds, Golden kicked off the action against Williams. With a final of 270-197, Golden moved on to face Gransbury.

With a difference of 30 pins, the match was in favor of Golden and she advanced to the semfinals against Ruck.

Ruck and Golden added a bit of drama to the day as they tied at 262-262. This resulted in a two frame roll off, which Golden nearly won by a final of 37-28.
