Capital project, school safety drive B-G budget

BAINBRIDGE – Residents of the Bainbridge-Guilford School District will vote on the proposed 2018-19 budget on Tuesday, including a tax levy of 4.23 percent.


The proposed $18,153,575 budget is a $535,540 increase from the 2017-18 budget, and is being driven by the district’s Capital Project and added school safety features, according to Superintendent Tim Ryan.


The budget includes an additional $200,000 in safety features compared to last year’s budget, including funds for a school resource officer, glass hardening for entryways, security camera, and servers.
