"Take a Tromp Through the Swamp" at McDonough Library Wednesday

MCDONOUGH – Widely acclaimed singer, guitarist, banjo, and drum machine player Tom Sieling will perform a free family and children's program at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the McDonough Library.

Sieling's program "Take a Tromp Through the Swamp" features a top-ten lineup of some of the most entertaining, amusing, and participatory children's songs.

Also at the program, Sieling – who is from Newfield, NY – will present interesting facts about area animals.

Director of Pember Library in Granville, NY, Nicole Carner said, "Tom [Sieling] is a wonderfully engaging performer, sure to raise even the most reticent out of their seat. We 'howled at the moon, sand a wild thing tune,' and wanted more!"

In addition to teaching children in attendance about local animals, Sieling will also encourage children to read and implement making music as part of their lives.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call (607) 647-5198.
