GREENE – Flash flooding in the Town of Greene hampered roadways on Monday night, effectively wiping out an area of County Road 2 and closing it until further notice.

County Road 2 between Route 12 and Route 206 in Greene is closed until further notice because of road washout, according to the Greene Fire Department.
