CHENANGO VALLEY – Norwich took down a STAC powerhouse Wednesday afternoon on one of the hardest nine-hole courses they will see this season. Led by the youngster John Ryan’s 45, the Purple Tornado topped the Chenango Valley Warriors with a final of 244-257.

CV’s Justin Wardell captured the top medalist of the match with his scorecard of 42, topping Ryan but just three strokes.

Alex Gage turned a 46 for the afternoon while Kai Sheer finished three strokes behind his teammate. Coming in at a 50 was Norwich’s Griffin Clipston and Max Marson capped the top five scores with a 54.
