Unadilla man pleads guilty to burglary

NORWICH – A Unadilla man pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary in Chenango County Court on Monday, and described his experience with stealing a safe in Guilford.

Reice C. Knowles, 19, of Unadilla, pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary, a class C felony, on Monday and was sentenced to a year in interim probation while he attempts to complete the drug treatment court program.

He will also be required to testify against his co-defendant as part of his plea and pay restitution for the objects stolen, totaling approximately $700 worth of goods. If his co-defendant is found guilty and pays restitution, the total would be split between them.
