Lady Storm fight back after 3rd set loss to take down Eagles; B-G stays perfect

HANCOCK – Unadilla Valley rallied back after losing the third set to beat Deposit/Hancock 3-1 Friday evening.

Unadilla Valley’s Erin Kelly recorded eight aces and 10 assists to lead the offense for the Storm. Her teammate Sierra Schrag received six of those assists and scored points by sending kills to Deposit/Hancock. Schrag also recorded nine assists.

Rebecca Ruffino hustled for the Storm, coming up with 13 digs while teammate Tatiana Lupo finished the match with eight digs and four kills.

Haley Nugent led Deposit/Hancock with five aces and four assists.

Unadilla Valley travels to Walton on Tuesday. Match is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
