Chenango Republicans opens Norwich headquarters

NORWICH – The Chenango Republican County Committee held a ribbon cutting at its new headquarters this weekend, drawing a number of candidates seeking election in the midterms approaching in three weeks.


Chenango Republican County Committee members were joined by Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Senator Fred Akshar, Assemblyman Clifford Crouch, Chenango County Treasurer Bill Craine, and Chenango County District Attorney Joe McBride at the grand opening.


Each of the candidates are incumbents seeking re-election this November 6, with the exception of McBride, who is running for New York State Supreme Court in the Sixth Judicial District.

"It was a great turnout of candidates," said Chenango Republican County Committee Secretary Matthew Caldwell. "It was nice for members of the public to be able to congregate with their elected officials and have a chance to casually converse."
