Unadilla Valley initiates lockdown after school threat
NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley School District went into a lockdown Tuesday morning after one of its students was allegedly audio recorded while he threatened an act of violence against a school.
According to school officials, the student who allegedly made the threat was located at Unadilla Valley, and a search of the student's locker revealed no weapons or contraband.
"Otselic Valley CSD went on a lockout after two students reported an audio recording of a threatened act of violence against a school allegedly made by a Unadilla Valley CSD student," said the school. "It's not clear at this time what school was specifically threatened, however all UV students and staff are safe."
