Bainbridge, Greene mayors will take part in second Meet the Mayors civic forum

NORWICH – Chenango Links will host its second Meet the Mayors civic forum at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 3 with Mayor of Bainbridge Philip Wade and Mayor of Greene Phillip Brown at the Bohemian Moon in Norwich.


Dubbed by organizers as "Not just a ribbon cutting; Peek into the roles of our leaders," the forum serves as a chance for local leaders to discuss their challenges, accomplishments, and visions for the future while affording attendees the opportunity to ask them questions.

Chenango Links member MiBy Kim said the purpose of the program is to engage more residents with their local government officials. Open to the public, forum organizers call for residents who aren't interested in "swamp politics" or "partisan or ideological polarization and rigidity" to attend.


Chenango Links member Karol Kucinski said the idea of organizing a civic forum was a result of Kim seeing European mayors speak in forums on TV.
