Unadilla Valley’s boys and girls win all points on the lanes against Oxford

NEW BERLIN – The Storm of Unadilla Valley took their home lanes for the first time of the 2018-2019 season as they faced Oxford and MAC matchup Tuesday afternoon. UV claimed all four points awarded in the bowling match in both the girls and boys side.

The Blackhawk’s Erin Howard finished with a 543 series, the highest of the afternoon on the girls side but it was the four out of five scores of 400-plus points that led Unadilla Valley to the match victory.

Paige Catena led the Lady Storm with a 525 three game scratch score. Teammate Gracie Oglesby bowled a 222 in the second game, the highest record for a single game by either team. She ended the day with a 499 while teammates Breanna Thall rolled a 468 series and Cat Livingston had a 428 for the match.

Izora Ramsey and Whitney Rogers split the play for the final of five Storm bowlers. Ramsey bowled the final of three games and recorded a 135 while Rodgers combined for a 251 score in the first two.

Oxford’s Megan Smith ended the day with a 408 scratch series while teammate Catherine Northrup bowled a three game total of 333. Leah VanDeusen tallied a 296 and Madison Behr was the final of five bowlers for the Blackhawks. She recorded a 186 series.
