GUILFORD – A Norwich City School District school bus assistant was charged with harassment after allegedly using unnecessary force on a seven year old student.

Larry J. Conant, 61, of Norwich was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on a Norwich City School District bus in the Town of Guilford.

According to Chenango County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Sgt. Joshua Gould, Conant is a school bus aid that used unnecessary force on a seven year old child.
