Sherburne Music Theater Society announces summer production
SHERBURNE – The Sherburne Music Theater Society (SMTS) is pleased to announce its summer musical production, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, based on the beloved Charles Schultz comic strip.
The production, being directed by Mark Sands, former director of 22 Norwich High School musical productions, is scheduled for three performances the weekend of July 19, 20 and 21, 2019.
With rehearsals slated to begin around May 20, 2019, auditions will take place on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Earlville Opera House and April 22, 2019 at the United Church of Christ in Norwich. The musical depicts “an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” A day made up of little moments, from Valentine’s Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair. Joining Charlie Brown in these escapades are his friends, Lucy, Patti, Schroeder, Linus and Snoopy (2 females, 3 males and Snoopy can be male or female).
