NORWICH – The first Fatnango Fat Bike Extravaganza, a winter fat bike race and community event beginning and ending in Norwich's Weiler Park, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday.
Several classes of races will take place across a groomed trail of about two-and-a-half miles during the winter biking event, which aims to showcase the city's trails and promote outdoor activities through a community-supported, family friendly event.
While online registration is closed, anyone interested in participating is invited to register in person on the day of the races.
In addition to the races, the event will feature food and drink vendors including Bueno Tacos, FoJo Beans, Good Nature Brewing, Bullthistle Brewing Company, and Chobani.
