NORWICH – The Chenango Dialysis Center added signage and passed its final city code inspection last week.

The City of Norwich Code Department completed its final inspection of the Chenango Dialysis Center last week, thus allowing the center to move forward towards opening by installing its equipment and obtaining its certificate of occupancy.

“It’s coming along great,” said City of Norwich Code Enforcement Officer Amy Donnison. “They’ve worked really hard and the contractors are meeting their deadline, so everything’s going really good.”

Chenango Dialysis Center Clinic Manager Christine Rogers said the center does not yet have an official opening date and she was unable to share the tentative date, but city officials have mentioned early June as the target window for the center’s opening during the January joint committees meeting’s code enforcement update.
